FaciliTasker

English

Your owners live abroad. Your contractors work in Japanese. Who keeps everyone informed?

Every property. Every asset. One record.

FaciliTasker connects the tenant who reports a problem, the local contractor who fixes it, and the property manager who keeps the record.

FaciliTasker for Japan is in development. This page describes the workflow we are building it around.

The contact form is being prepared.

Illustration. Not an actual office or shop.

Sound familiar?

  • A tenant messages in English about a leak. The contractor only speaks Japanese. You translate both ways.
  • A quote arrives on paper. The owner is in Singapore and asks by email what it is for.
  • A small repair waits three days for an approval nobody needed to give.
  • The owner asks what was done to the property last year. The answer is in someone's inbox.
  • The contractor changes, and the building's history leaves with them.

Planned workflow

  1. Report. The tenant opens their personal link or scans its QR code and describes the problem in Japanese or English, with photos.
  2. Send. You choose a contractor set up for the property. The contractor sees the job in FaciliTime's Japanese interface, in the app or a web browser. A FaciliTime login is required.
  3. Approve. You set approval thresholds per property. A manager can approve or reject a cost on a request.
  4. Record. Photos and the completion note are saved on the request. The property manager can export an English summary of requests for the property.

For everyone involved

  • Property managers: one queue for requests, approvals and jobs across all the properties you manage.
  • Owners: your property manager can send you an English summary of requests for your property.
  • Tenants: report a problem in Japanese or English and follow the status of your request.
  • Contractors: see job details in FaciliTime's Japanese interface.

The record stays with the property

Maintenance requests, photos and the equipment records you create stay with the property, not in a contractor's job list. If you change contractor, they stay with the property.

Early partners

The platform behind FaciliTasker is used by maintenance contractors in the UK and Poland. We are now adapting it for Japan and looking for a small number of early partners. If you look after properties for overseas owners, we would like to hear how you work today.

The contact form is being prepared.
